2025 Highlights ✨

• Over 250 athletes served
• 156 total classes delivered
• Coach Amanda earned her CF-L1 and officially joined the team 💪
• Celebrated our 4th year at Camp FYR
• 10 athletes attended Camp FYR
• Continued our partnership with Growth Works (Year 2)
• Launched a new partnership with Bridgeway Services
• 86% of our Expanding Horizons athletes successfully completed probation 🎓
• Purchased additional equipment to better serve our athletes

These highlights tell part of the story, but the heart of 2025 was our resilience.

Being displaced multiple times could have broken our momentum, but instead it strengthened our purpose. We worked tirelessly to ensure our athletes ALWAYS had a place to call home. Along the way, we learned that home isn’t a physical location — it’s a community that believes, supports, and grows together.

This year, FYR Detroit proved what resilience looks like.
We’re grateful for everyone who stood with us.

From a spark to a movement 🔥💪🏻

One year ago, at Camp FYR 2024, the Adaptive Athlete Experience Seminar was just an idea — a vision to create a space where athletes and coaches could learn, connect, and celebrate what’s truly possible when we adapt, include, and uplift one another.

Since that first seminar, we’ve seen stories that moved, breakthroughs that defied expectations, and a community that showed up with open hearts and unstoppable determination.

We’ve learned that adaptability isn’t just about training — it’s about mindset, creativity, and courage. It’s about making sure everyone has a seat at the table and a chance to shine ☀️

From Camp FYR 2024 ➡️ Camp FYR 2025, we’ve grown together — not just in skill and knowledge, but in understanding and empathy. And this is only the beginning.

To every athlete, coach, volunteer, and supporter who has been part of this journey — thank you. You are the heartbeat of this movement.

A special thank you to for stepping into her passion, following her heart, and trusting God’s lead for her life. Your dedication and faith have been an inspiration to us all.
