It was great celebrating our Detroit-area Jackson State University students, incoming freshmen, alumni, and Tiger parents at Dave & Buster’s!

Congratulations to our 2026 Cecil Forbes, Sr. Scholarship Recipients:

Each recipient was awarded a $2,500 scholarship, and all attending students received gift cards. Thank you to our generous donors and supporters for investing in the future of our Tiger scholars.

🚨🚨An important message from our JSUNAA Detroit Chapter President, Shamika Womble:
Due to unsafe weather conditions, the JSUNAA Detroit Chapter Blue & White Cook Out and Student Send-Off scheduled for Saturday, July 18th has been canceled. The safety of our students, families, alumni, and supporters is our highest priority. We sincerely thank everyone for your continued support and enthusiasm for this special event.

We are exploring the possibility of rescheduling the Student Send-Off at a later date, and additional information will be shared by our Send-Off Committee as details become available.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you at our next JSUNAA Detroit Chapter event. Thank you for your continued support of the JSUNAA Detroit Chapter.
