A big thank you to The Queens Council of New Era Detroit, in partnership with Cooking With Kameal, for hosting such an amazing plant-based cooking and healing experience centered around wellness, sisterhood, and community.

🤟🏽 With the support of Community Development Advocates of Detroit and Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency, AADHH was honored to sponsor tickets for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals and families, as well as provide an ASL interpreter to ensure full access and participation throughout the event.

The vibes were amazing, the food was delicious, the wine was flowing, and the laughter filled the room all night long! ❤️ We had great raffles, great conversations, and an overall amazing time together.

We are accepting new or gently used:
👕 Clothing
👟 Shoes
🪑 Furniture
🧸 Household items
🎒 School supplies
🧴 Hygiene products
…and more.

Please make sure all donated items are:
✔️ Clean and washed
✔️ Folded neatly
✔️ Labeled on the bag or box

🚫 Please do not donate broken, heavily damaged, or trash items. We want to provide quality items to those we serve.

A huge THANK YOU to Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency and The Kresge Foundation for supporting AADHH!

What a wonderful way to start our Saturday off! ✨

Because of your support, AADHH was able to cover the cost of today’s amazing Trap Pilates class at The Trap Yoga & Massage Studio! Because of this support, we were also able to provide an interpreter to help make the experience accessible and inclusive for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. 🤟🏾

Everyone also received a beautiful trap houseplant to keep their homes purified and delicious Su’More Hibiscus tea to enjoy. 🌿🫖

Today was filled with wellness, self-care, movement, accessibility, and great energy. We’re so grateful to continue creating inclusive experiences for our community.

AADHH , in partnership with The Kresge Foundation, is providing grocery assistance for Deaf & Hard of Hearing families in need. 🛒💙

Families may receive:
🍗 Meat (protein included)
🥗 Sides & essential items
🛍️ Groceries to prepare a full meal at home

Our goal is to support Deaf & Hard of Hearing families and help ensure households have access to warm meals at home. 💜
