We often talk about church and how many people attend, but we don't talk about faith, waiting, and believing in God. It seemed a long time since our church has been full, unless we have a visitor or a special program. Yet it's filled with the Holy Spirit, and I have to believe what God told me. Four years have passed. The church is not filled. A lot of people would say, "Why don't you just close the door and join another church?" But I hear David say, "Wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thy heart." Wait, I say, on the Lord. It's also been more than four years since my companion died. Yet instead, I hear the Spirit of David speak. God said, "Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thy heart." Faith is the substance of things hoped for and not seen. Sure, you don't see the church filled, but I believe that it will be. Maybe you don't feel like God has somebody special for you, but I believe Him. Maybe you don't feel like God can mend a broken heart, but I know that He can. You must stay believing; you must. Keep the faith and understand it's not about time; it's about God's will. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart. I implore you to wait on the Lord.
Be blessed, be encouraged, and wait on the Lord.
