Back in May, we shared with you news of our new partnership with Detroit Lakes Adventist Community Services & Thriftstore. Our Food Pantry clients in need can receive a voucher from us to get household essentials, clothes, and shoes at no cost. We have been able to help 86 families to date. Some needed clothes for work, some lost their belongings due to natural disasters and fires, and most often, our clients needed cooking and kitchen supplies to be able to fully utilize the foods they receive from us. If you have something to donate, please consider bringing it to the Adventist Community Services, 404 Richwood Rd Detroit Lakes. They accept donations on Tuesdays from 9-7 and Thursdays from 9-4.
Most-needed items include: Crock pots, electric frying pans, hot plates, coffee makers, microwaves, dishes, can openers, pots, pans, and utensils, towels and bedding, and winter gear. Your tax-deductible donations make a real difference for area families in need. Thank you!

We're so grateful for everyone that supported our 2026 Inaugural Becker County Walk for Hunger, and for the fabulous weather! We raised nearly $6,000 and had 75 people of all ages walk with us. Special thanks to Olander Bus Service for donating their awesome trolley for the return ride, and to Central Market for the delicious brats! We can't wait for next year!
