The Detroit Lakes Jaycees are totally stoked to announce that the Annual Northwest Water Carnival is celebrating a WHOPPING 90 YEARS in 2026.

Ninety years. NINETY! Mind blown! 💥
We couldn’t do this without the rad community we get to call home and the amazing support you bring year after year. Seriously—you’re the real MVPs.

Get ready to jump into some brand-new, never-been-done-before events and all the classic Water Carnival events you’ve grown up with. Don’t worry—most things are staying just the way you like them…
Except our hangout spot.. because DL is getting a super cool, brand-spankin’-new Pavilion!

🎉 NEW HUB ALERT 🎉
We’ll be taking over People’s Park, behind Zorbaz and the Arena on Rossman Ave, and turning it into the ultimate 90s playground. So grab your scrunchies, dust off your windbreakers, and get ready for a summer packed with SLIME-TASTIC fun!
