Captain Rod and crew mates Laurel and Diane took clients from A Place For Hope out on the lake for a great fishing day. It was a beautiful day and the fisher-people enjoyed reeling in the sunnies.

My favorite Captain and a great crew mate had a perfect weather cruise with some amazing people from Adult Life Moorhead. We saw Loons by the dozens! Thank you Lowell Schlauderaff and Art Bakker for having my six!

Special salute to John and the team with At Ease Dock and Lift for getting our new lift in the water. Thanks to you we are ready to start our training trips tomorrow! Client trips will start June 10. It’s going to be a great season!!

The Eagle Has Landed! (Well, not the real Eagle) Let's Go Fishing Detroit Lakes' new pontoon has arrived! It is at our sloop at the Holiday Inn. We are excited to see it on the water! Drive by and take a look! Look for more updates on Volunteer training and calendar scheduling as we near our opening date.

Many thanks to Kevin Mann of Mann Financial Group for spearheading our fundraiser for this beautiful pontoon! Due to his amazing work and to all our sponsors who support us, our clients will have a roomier more comfortable fishing experience this summer.

As I sit here looking out at Detroit Lake, it is 63 degrees and sunny in March! We are all getting antsy for the ice to go off the lake and to get our new pontoon into the water! (More news on that later!) In the meantime, we just wanted to say happy spring, looking forward to seeing our volunteers at our spring training and to get our clients scheduled for trips staring in June. We will keep you posted!
