If you are familiar with me, you are aware of my sentiments regarding Veterans. This issue weighs heavily on my heart, so I am bringing it up. I am fairly confident that I already know two individuals who will assist, but I am concerned that I will only receive about four responses, as this is a pressing concern. Twenty-two Veterans succumb to their struggles daily. May I request that two friends or family members copy and re-post this message? Someone's life may depend on it. ❤️‍🩹 Call the Veteran's Hotline at 988 #1 or 844-647-1354. I am asking for just two individuals to respond with 'done'.

As we approach Christmas, it's time to pause and thank those that went before us. God bless our veterans in passing, may they rest in peace.

Tomorrow is national "Give to the Max Day". Why not consider helping veterans and do it thru the efforts of DAV Chapter 31 right here in Detroit Lakes. All funds go to aid and help local veterans in need of assistance. You can help make a difference. Make your check to DAV Chapter 31, mark it "Give to the Max" and we'll be sure to put it to work for Vets.

Thanks to the VFW in Detroit Lakes for hosting our event. It was a great evening and we appreciate the support for DAV Lakeland Chapter 31. Many veterans will be benefited from this events fundraising.

The DAV OKTOBERFEST is on Saturday October 4th at the VFW starting at 5:30 PM.
Come on out and enjoy a meal and an action packed evening of raffles and other games. Prizes galore and many very fine guns will be raffled off. We have great sponsors helping again this year.

Tickets are $50 / person $25 towards meal and $25 towards the raffle.

The DAV OktoberFest date is set and tickets are available at the VFW or from Jason Bristlin or other Board Members. Get yours now before there all gone. Oct 4th, 2025 at 5:30 - 9 PM at the VFW in Detroit Lakes.

Wonderful day and a good turnout by the community for the dedication of the Veterans Handicap Accessible Dock on the waterfront here in DL. It will be a great addition to the DL beach that the community can enjoy along with our Veterans.
