Meeting time: The first Monday of every month at 7pm, in the main office of the Detroit Lakes airport. The lakes area EAA chapter, based in Detroit Lakes, MN. Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our chapter. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people

to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.

Plan to visit Fagen Fighters WWII Museum on Saturday, April 25th. YME middle and high school jazz bands will perform at 1pm in the Fighter Hangar. We'll have a food truck on site and weather permitting, Warbirds will fly. Hope to see you at Fagen Fighters WWII Museum located near Granite Falls, Minnesota, at the Lenzen-Roe-Fagen Memorial Airport!

We had an Excellent evening for sloppy joes and talking about the EAA Leadership training course attended by Mike and Jean Moe this past weekend! Exciting new aviation information shared. We are thrilled to have local student pilots and instructors, and celebrated their milestones! Looking forwards to awesome flying weather!

It's almost here. The annual Fergus Falls EAA Chapter 1174 Fly In and Belgian Waffle Feed. It's a great time for the whole family. We will be doing Young Eagle Flights, so bring the kids!

Another fabulous Airventure wrapped up in 2023. Awesome father daughter time. Anyone know anybody in the Fargo area that does glider instruction, my daughters, all over the idea of getting her glider rating since she doesn’t have to wait till she’s 16 for it. :)
