Our next collection of artwork has been photographed and the printer is working on the new banners. Here is the printers proof of the banners they sent me to approve. We should have banners this coming week -- then up they go on Main Street!!!

We have lost some gardeners at our community garden over the last several months and we are looking for new gardeners. If you are interested in joining us, please pm me and we can talk. A single raised 4' x 12' bed costs $100 per year and includes a complete watering system.

It is always fun to put up new banners -- especially the Christmas ones. Our artists this year were Estelle Grengs Art, Kathy Sura Schumacher, Kathy Guidry, Charlie Saleeby, Pat Z Roberts, Helen Harris and Lynn Craft Lueken. These banners will be on the banner poles in the medians of Main Street until around the middle of January 2026.

Our winter gardens are amazing. It is so much fun eating what we grow -- and certainly healthier. There is nothing better than garden grown vegies. The flavors are just so much better than what you can get at the grocery stores -- even the organically grown can't hold a candle to what we grow.

All are welcome to come to our garden to see what we are doing -- just DO NOT PICK anything. Our gardeners work hard weeding, planting and maintaining their gardens. Also, they are paying to belong to our garden. So please enjoy -- but DON'T PICK !

We got our Christmas banners on the banner poles in the medians on Main Street today. Thanks to those of you who participate in our project. Destin is a better place because of you. May this season bring you joy !!

Yesterday was the first Destin Main Street Community Garden work day we have had in a long time. Our Garden is now looking so much better. I am loving having all the new faces in the Garden -- And It was especially great having young children helping and working along side their parents. What a fun day !!!
