Hurricane Isaias Debris Collection Update:
(ZONES DO NOT EQUAL PRIORITY)

The City of Destin continues to make progress with storm debris removal following Hurricane Isaias. To help residents follow collection operations, the City has been divided into designated debris pickup zones, as illustrated on the attached map.

Crews are currently working in Zones 2, 7, 8, and 10. Beginning Friday, October 23, two additional collection trucks will be deployed to Zones 5 and 6, expanding collection operations to six zones simultaneously.

Debris Collection Progress to Date:
7,760 cubic yards of vegetative debris collected * 140 truckloads of debris removed * 88 hazardous hanging limbs removed * 6 hazardous leaning trees removed

Residents are reminded to separate vegetative debris from construction and demolition debris and place materials along the curbside. Keep roadways, sidewalks, storm drains, fire hydrants, and utility equipment clear. Avoid parking vehicles along streets where collection crews are operating.

Debris collection is a substantial undertaking, and crews will continue working throughout the City. Multiple collection passes are planned, so residents should not be concerned if all debris is not removed during the initial pass.

The City appreciates everyone's continued patience and cooperation as we work to restore our community following Hurricane Isaias.

Ladies join us in playing BUNCO at the Legion tonight!!!

We get together once a month (3rd Tuesday of each month), although there's no obligation to be at each one (we understand that we all have lives). We meet in the bar area.

It's a $10 buy-in and we play 3 rounds (4 if time permits). We will have 4 winners at the end of the night with varying cash prizes!!!

1st place - Most BUNCOS
2nd - Most Wins
3rd - Most Losses
4th - Crown (current all 2's winner)

We do a potluck theme where everyone chips in one way or another to bring in a snack that serves 2-4 people to share, although there is no obligation. And sometimes forgo bringing food if the group is small.

The bar will be open to purchase drinks, as we are not permitted to bring our own in.

Please post any questions you may have, or send them through messenger. We also keep up to date on the details and/or if we plan to cancel this event due to lack of participants via Group Me and the BUNCO Babes group:
