After two meaningful years of operation, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Shalom Home. Over this time, we had the privilege of welcoming and supporting over 20 men on their journey to recovery from drugs and alcohol. While our time together was brief for some and longer for others, each individual’s story has left a lasting impact on us.
Though we wish we could have helped many more, we are incredibly grateful for every man who called Shalom Home their temporary sanctuary. Your courage, resilience, and determination to live a clean and sober life have been nothing short of inspiring. Each of you has taught us valuable lessons about hope, perseverance, and the power of community.
We are pleased to share that, as of today, the house has been sold. We are proud to report that every man residing at the time of the sale has been successfully placed into stable and positive living situations. Our prayer continues for each of you, that your journey in recovery remains strong and filled with hope.
To everyone who supported Shalom Home—whether through your prayers, donations, encouragement, or kindness—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It has been an honor and a blessing to be part of this chapter in your lives.
