Last night, Nebraska Community Foundation's 2026 Hometown Interns took the stage to share stories of discovery, belonging, and the hidden assets that make Greater Nebraska thrive.

Returning for her second summer as a Hometown Intern, Tierra is passionate about making sure every voice in her community is heard.

This summer, Tierra hopes to help bring community ideas to life, strengthen connections across generations and continue building a bright future for Deshler. As she puts it, Deshler is a small town filled with loving, hardworking people who want to see one another succeed.
