It’s been awhile since Miss Kim asked Noah to remind teens they don’t know everything. 😂🤪🌱

What an honor it has been.

Princeton’s last lesson.

Our founder and family will have their private moments next.

One Last Lesson

Don’t make this sad.

I’ve got grass to eat,
sunshine to stand in,
and a whole herd of angels
who probably need help.

I’ve got old friends waiting.
Wide-open pastures.
No aching joints.
No hard days.

But before I go,
I’ve got one more lesson to teach.

One more group to greet.
One more child to reassure.
One more person to remind
that strength can be gentle,
and healing doesn’t always come from words.

I’ve spent my life listening.

To tears spoken into my mane.
To fears hidden behind brave smiles.
To hearts that needed a safe place to rest.

Today you’ll tell stories about me.
You’ll laugh about the time I stole oak leaves from trees,
made funny faces,
or stuck my tongue out just to make everyone smile.

Please do.

Because if I’ve taught you anything,
I hope it’s this:

Life is measured by how many hearts
we leave softer than we found them.

So don’t hang your heads too long.

Lift your faces to the sun.
Love your people.
Pet the horses.
Feed the donkeys.
Plant the flowers.

Keep doing the work.

And when you see a child gain confidence,
a family find healing,
or a horse quietly changing a life,

Think of me.

I’ll be somewhere beyond the fence line,
running sound and free,

with grass to eat,

and angels to annoy.

Turning Trash Into Treasure

Today wasn’t just about paint and trash cans.

It was about slowing down, working together, and learning that even ordinary things deserve care.

A worn-out trash can became a canvas.
A simple task became a lesson.
A few hours of effort became pride.

At XO Ranch, real-world skills aren’t always found in a classroom. Sometimes they’re found with paint on your gloves, dirt on your boots, and a project that teaches patience, teamwork, responsibility, and creativity.

Because the truth is, life is full of things people overlook.

Old fences.
Old buckets.
Old trash cans.

Sometimes even people.

But when we invest a little time, a little effort, and a little heart, amazing things happen.

We learn that beauty isn’t always bought.
Sometimes it’s built.

One brushstroke, one skill, and one act of care at a time. ❤️

Learning WORK SKILLS. Such a necessary need to provide real work skills, measurements and resume building for ALL abilities!

We always say even our facilitators, trainers, job coaches need to grow too! One of life’s hardest lessons; job isn’t done until you put your items away 😂🌱
