Last night we had a fantastic time celebrating our incredible team at the Des Plaines Park District Holiday Party.

We’re grateful for the hard work, dedication, and team spirit that made 2025 such a strong year.

Congrats to all of the households that entered the 2025 Des Plaines Halloween Home Decorating Contest! There were a lot of great looking homes this year, but in the end there is only room for 10 finalists. So without further ado, here they are:

Think your Home is the SCARIEST in all of Des Plaines? Prove it by joining this years Des Plaines Halloween Home Decorating Contest! This is a FREE contest open to anyone that lives within the borders of DP. Just message us or email us your Name, Address, Phone number, and Email Address to Enter, it's that easy. Entries will be accepted through October 17th at 5pm. Decorations must be visible from the street and illuminated. Judging takes place from dusk til 10 pm October 19 - 26. The winners will be announced in the Des Plaines Journal and Topics on Wednesday October 29th. Prizes are given to the top 3 finishers. Ghoul Luck to all those bold enough to enter! 🎃 👻
