In honor of our Board Members are sharing the “why” behind their volunteer work 🍼💕

“I spent 5+ years working as a respiratory therapist primarily in the NICU, and saw families struggling. Fast forward to my own pregnancy, which was pretty normal until an emergency delivery. Our twins' NICU stay was short, but a struggle nonetheless. If I can help ease one burden for a family, then that's what I want to do. This is my why."

In honor of , our Board Members are sharing the “why” behind their volunteer work 🍼💙

“My second pregnancy was completely normal....until I delivered at 28 weeks without rhyme or reason. My 3-pound warrior, Matthew, spent 50 days in the NICU at Blank. CNL supported my family during one of the scariest times of our lives. I joined the board shortly after his discharge to support other mothers and families who are going through a similar experience.”

Matthew is now a healthy, spunky 4 year old and is starting his first year of pre-k! 🤗

Hoyt and Piercely celebrated their 7th bithday this summer 🎂

Mom says they are both in first grade this year and are perfect 🥰... they were born at 25 weeks and spent 104/106 days in the NICU at Blank!

We are so grateful they are thriving and that we were able to be a small part of their journey 🩷🩵
