Join Ruby and her animal friends for another storytime at the Zoo Monday, March 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. 📚

This year Ruby is reading stories that highlight the theme of "What makes a good pet?". With so many different animals in the world it's important to learn the differences between wild and domestic animals. After the story Ruby is joined by one of the Zoo's Ambassador Animals where our readers can help figure out what might or might not make that animal a good pet.

This event is included with the purchase of a general admission ticket and free to Blank Park Zoo Members.

Who's ready for another Ruby storytime? This month's storytime will be Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. 📚

This year Ruby is reading lots of fun books about wild and domestic animals, asking the question 'What Makes a Pet?'. Stick around after the story for a special visit from one of the Ambassador Animals that calls Blank Park Zoo home.

There's no better way to stay warm than getting cozy with a new book and new animal friends 📚🦔

Join Ruby the reading red panda for her monthly story time Monday, December 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. Learn all about the natural world through books in the warmth of the Discovery Center next to the front entrance. Guests will also get to meet an ambassador animal after Ruby's story.

This event is free for Zoo Members and included with the purchase of a general admission ticket.

This event is great for young learners to grow their appreciation of the natural world through reading. Each book takes us on a new nature adventure! After the story we'll get to learn about one of the Zoo's Ambassador Animals.
