Happy Children’s Day to our beautiful Nigerian kiddos here in Iowa! 🇳🇬❤️

To celebrate, we spent the day volunteering at Meals from the Heartland — teaching our children the importance of food, the incredible work this organization does to feed hungry kids in under-resourced communities around the world, and the power of showing up for others.

Watching them pack meals with their little hands, asking questions, and learning that they too can make a difference? Priceless. This is exactly the kind of village we want to raise them in.

Happy Children’s Day — may you always know your worth, your roots, and the joy of giving back. 🌍✨

Some of the Nigerian women came together tonight to celebrate our own Chinwendu on her relocation out of Des Moines Iowa.
This celebration isn't just about eating but also about the gifts and impacts we make on each other's lives. Chinwendu is an amazing woman blessed among us with a free spirit to connect, support, accommodate, and encourage anyone she encounters. She's a blessing and surely to be missed. We pray the Good Lord will guide and lead you
