**IMPORTANT – REGISTRATION DEADLINE**
The registration deadline is:
**TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2026, AT MIDNIGHT**
**This deadline is firm. NO late registrations will be accepted or added after the registration deadline.**
Please do not wait until the last minute to register your athletes. It is each club and coach's responsibility to make sure their athletes are properly entered before registration closes.
Once the deadline passes, registration will be considered final so brackets, tournament bouts, and show bouts can be organized. **There will be no exceptions for athletes who were not registered by the deadline. **
**Tournament Entry Fee: $5 per boxer**
Registration will be completed through Xallenger.
SHOW BOUTS: All athletes wishing to participate in a show bout must also be entered through Xallenger. This includes athletes who ARE NOT competing in the Silver Gloves tournament but would like to be considered for a matched show bout.
Entering all available athletes through Xallenger will allow us to organize tournament brackets and potential show bout matchups in one place.

BOXER REQUIREMENTS:
Please make sure each athlete has the following completed and up to date:
USA Boxing Passbook:
All boxers must have their USA Boxing passbook with their current membership card printed and attached inside the cover.
Athlete Physical:
Each boxer must have a current athlete physical completed within the previous 12 months. The physical should also be uploaded to the athlete's USA Boxing profile.
Birth Certificate:
A birth certificate must be uploaded to USA Boxing for age verification.
Weight Requirements:
Boxers must weigh at or below the weight at which they registered. If a boxer is over their registered weight, they may be moved to the next applicable weight class or disqualified.
Please make every effort to ensure your boxer is on weight **BEFORE arriving at weigh-ins**.
Saturday weigh-ins will run from **10:00 AM–12:00 PM**, and the scales will close promptly at **12:00 PM**.
PHYSICAL EXAM INFORMATION
Only athletes who have a **tournament bout or a matched show bout** will need to see the ringside physician.
Unopposed boxers will NOT need to see the doctor.
This should help eliminate unnecessary waiting for athletes who do not have a bout.
COACH REQUIREMENTS
All coaches working an athlete's corner must have:
• Current 2026 USA Boxing membership
• Current SafeSport certification
• Green Level certification or higher
• Completed and approved background screening
Please check your USA Boxing account ahead of time and make sure everything is current.
Coaches showing a “Pending” status will NOT be permitted to work in an athlete's corner.
GENERAL ADMISSION
General admission will be **$20 per person**.
The 2027 Iowa Silver Gloves Fact Sheet is attached for easy reference. Please share it with your club and anyone who will be attending.
Again, please pay close attention to the **December 1 at midnight registration deadline. Once registration closes, NO additional registrations will be accepted.**
