Next week We’ll have cotton T-shirts, Dry-Fit shirts, hoodies, and tank tops available in sizes S–2XL. Get geared up as we kick back in to Gear Tuesday, September 8th at 5pm 🥊

All proceeds go directly back to supporting our nonprofit boxing club and the youth we serve. Every purchase helps us continue providing opportunities for our kids, improving the gym, and keeping our program going strong.

IMPORTANT SILVER GLOVES UPDATE — NEW PLATFORM

The National Silver Gloves will be transitioning to a new tournament platform called Xallenger.

Xallenger is very similar to Konquer and will be used to run the Silver Gloves tournament at all levels — State, Regional, and National.

I know with any change comes some frustration, especially when everyone was just getting comfortable with the system we used last year. However, I highly encourage all coaches and clubs to create an Xallenger account now and start getting familiar with the platform. Once you get into it and start working with it, you’ll realize it is very similar to what we used last year.

Don’t wait until registration opens. Get your account set up, build your team, and add your athletes so you are ready to register for the Silver Gloves tournament just like you did through Konquer.

Xallenger can also be used to run your local LBC shows, so becoming familiar with the platform now will be beneficial beyond just Silver Gloves.

IMPORTANT: Use of Xallenger will be mandatory for Silver Gloves participation. If you plan to participate in the Silver Gloves program, your team and athletes will need to be set up through Xallenger.

Please take some time now to create your account, explore the platform, and get your team built before tournament registration begins.

Reminder: Closed until September 8th.

As we do every year, Southeast Des Moines Boxing Club will be closed beginning August 24th and will reopen Tuesday, September 8th at 5:00 PM.

This yearly break gives our kids a chance to get settled back into school, get into a good routine, and take a little time away from the gym. It also gives our coaches the opportunity to make upgrades, repairs, and improvements to the gym.

We also have something NEW starting when we reopen!

One of the biggest questions we get from new members and parents is:

“What equipment do I need, and where do I buy it?”

Starting September 8th, we're making that easy. All new members will have the option to purchase New Member Package with the basic equipment needed to get started:

🥊 Pullstring Boxing Bag

EVERYTHING FOR $140

No guessing what to buy or where to find it. We'll have the basics covered so new boxers can show up ready to learn and get to work.

If anyone is available to help tear down the ring about 4:30, it would be greatly appreciated. We had a few not show up this morning. So just trying to make light work on, tearing it down. Only takes about 40mins. Thank you in advance!
