Our Auxiliary participated in our District 5 President's Project to gather petfood, treats and related items for pets in need. Dog items went to The Pet Project of Midwest that supplies items for owners in need when the unexpected natural disaster, fire or loss of a job causes a financial hardship. Cat items went to Happy Tales Ranch & Rescue - a no-kill feline shelter that takes in kittens and cats that are neighborhood strays or owner surrendered.
