Every summer, Camp Hertko Hollow creates a safe, supportive, and unforgettable experience for children living with diabetes. Our Camp Wish List helps provide the supplies, equipment, and resources that make camp possible—from program activities and recreation to the everyday essentials that help campers learn, grow, and thrive.

Summer camp is right around the corner, and we’re getting ready to welcome campers living with type 1 diabetes for another unforgettable week at Camp Hertko Hollow! 💙

Only 9 days left to get registered!!

Summer Camp Registration closes May 15 and spots are limited!

If you are planning on attending camp this summer, please register as soon as you can so we can secure your spot! If you are not registered by May 15, you will be placed on a wait list.

Health assessment forms and immunization forms for new campers are due June 1. Please plan ahead so these documents are ready by the deadline.

We’re looking forward to welcoming campers ages 5-17 for a full week of camp June 21–27, with new programming and education planned for this season! We also have two Mini Camp sessions available for ages 5–7 (June 21–24 & June 24–27).

For many kids living with type 1 diabetes, camp is the one week they get to just be kids—surrounded by friends who understand and a community that supports them. 💙

But over 50% of our campers need financial assistance, and we subsidize every camper’s cost to ensure no family is turned away.

We need your help to make camp possible—supporting programming, medical supplies, food, and the tools that keep campers safe and thriving.

🌟 Application deadline extended to April 26 at midnight!! Please be sure to register for camp as well as completing your application.

Our Leader in Training (LIT) and Counselor in Training (CIT) programs are back again this summer for teens ages 16–17 who are ready to grow, lead, and make an impact.

Through hands-on experience at camp, participants build valuable leadership and transferable skills that carry far beyond camp—whether they’re heading to college, starting a new job, or preparing for a future role as camp staff.

• Campers must apply to be considered.
• Spots are limited—early applications are encouraged!

If your teen is ready to grow, lead, and build confidence, this program has something to offer every teen—no prior leadership experience required. Our LIT/CIT programs are designed to help teens discover their strengths and prepare for what’s next.

Our camp experience is made possible by dedicated volunteers who help children with Type 1 diabetes build confidence, independence, and lifelong memories in a safe, supportive camp environment.
