Alpha Women’s Center offers a variety of confidential services, and we serve women and families regardless of age, race, religion or marital status. There are never any charges for our services. We Offer Free:

We are running really low on winter coats this year, especially in sizes newborn through 2T!

With colder weather coming, we want to make sure we have coats available for the little ones we serve. If you have any winter coats in these sizes that you'd be willing to donate, we would be so grateful!

A Little Less Mud, A Lot More Gratitude! ❤️

What was once a muddy mess is now a much better path, thanks to the hardworking crew from New City Church!

These wonderful volunteers gave their time and energy to create a much-needed approach to our shed, solving a practical problem and blessing our ministry in the process.

Sometimes serving others looks like getting your hands dirty (literally!), and we are so grateful for people who put love into action.

Some days at Alpha are filled with hard conversations, heavy hearts, and walking alongside women through difficult decisions.

And some days… we get to snuggle adorable babies! 🥰💕

Today was a sweet reminder that while the work we do isn't always easy, it is always worth it.

We are so grateful for this group from Walnut Creek Church Downtown! They painted, stained, bagged diapers, organized the closet and hygiene shelves, and did it all with a smile and willing hearts. Thank you!

We’re so thankful for these ministry friends from Federated Church of Bondurant! Pastor Thomas brought an awesome group of jr high and high school students and leaders who put their faith into action at our Ankeny center.
They delivered donations that were gathered by the congregation - mountain of diapers, gallon ziplocs, and some gently used coats. Then after a brief ministry intro and Q & A with our Director Shelene, they got to work bagging up the diapers, pulling weeds, making outfits, and cleaning the facility.
Before leaving, they gathered for a time of reflection and prayer. Federated Church of Bondurant, thank you for joining Alpha in providing tangible help and the hope of Christ to our neighbors in need!

We are so grateful for these ladies who help us care for our Spanish-speaking clients. There is something special about being able to share your heart, ask questions, and feel understood in your own language.

What a blessing it is to have women willing to serve our clients in their heart language! We know our clients are grateful, and so are we! 💜

A few weeks ago, our Wednesday Wish was for extra hands to help with our mailing, and you answered the call!

We were so blessed by those who gave their time to help us get it all done. What could have been an overwhelming task became so much easier because of you.

We are incredibly thankful for the people who continually show up for Alpha. You are such a blessing to this ministry! 💜
