Maroon And Gold Gala

05/07/2026

Please join us on Friday, June 12. Check-in begins at 9:30 AM in preparation for the sh***un start at 11 AM. Golfers will enjoy carting around the hills of A.H. Blank Golf Course and playing a few fun course games before ending the day at the Clubhouse for dinner. We'll draw for raffle prizes and door prizes, and announce contest winners.

Non-golfers are welcome to join us for dinner with the purchase of a Dinner Only Ticket. Simply arrive by 4 PM to welcome the golfers as they end their rounds; grab a drink from the cash bar while you wait.

If Mini Golf is more your speed, Lincoln High School will benefit from that as well! Come play anytime between 10 AM and 3 PM on Fri, June 12. Buy your tickets online now (link below) or near the Mini Golf course the day of the outing.

If you're not available on June 12 but would still like to support LHS, we have several sponsorship opportunities. Let us acknowledge you with a course sign, clubhouse sign, or banner. All proceeds will support clubs and activities at LHS!

Tickets and sponsorships are available here until Friday, June 5: https://onecau.se/lhsgolf2026 or email [email protected].

Southside — you showed up in a BIG way! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your incredible support of Lincoln High School activities. Your generosity, energy, and were on full display, and it means more than you know to our students.

A special thank you to our small but mighty Gala Committee. Your countless hours of planning, your attention to every detail, and your unwavering commitment to excellence made the night truly unforgettable.

To everyone who helped plan, organize, serve, decorate, promote, secure sponsors, gather auction items, and fundraise — THANK YOU. Events like this don’t just happen. They are built by dedicated people who generously give their time, talent, and heart to ensure our students have every opportunity to thrive. We are deeply grateful for each and every one of you.

To the many businesses and individuals who donated items and services in-kind — your generosity directly impacts our activity programs and the students who benefit from them. We could not do this without your partnership.

And a huge thank you to Ruth Kraber-Lendt and our own ALHS Alumni Foundation - Des Moines Lincoln High School for beautifully capturing the evening through photography. Because of you, we’ll be able to relive the joy and celebration for years to come.

Southside, you continue to prove that when we come together, amazing things happen. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their future.
