Check out this reflection from Paul and Cindy, two of our Connection Center volunteers, and see what an afternoon in the Connection Center can look like! 💙

"Ruth shared her story with us. As a young girl, doctors found a brain tumor, and after many surgeries and challenges, she still worked hard and raised two boys. "I shouldn't be here," she told us, "but I give God the glory that I am." She's determined to finish school, and she came to Love INC for a gas card so she could get to her doctor's appointment. "Another blessing from God," she said. As we listened, Paul turned to Cindy and said, "She's lifting us up as much as we're lifting her." Cindy prayed with Ruth before she left, and she walked out encouraged. So did we.

Then there was Mia. She noticed Cindy's scooter, and Cindy shared that she's lived with MS for 27 years. Mia opened up about a dear friend she'd lost to MS. It was a sweet moment of connection. Mia had been through a hard season and was feeling beaten down. Paul prayed with her, reminding her that God loves her and wants to release everything holding her down. Then God nudged him to ask Cindy to pray too. As Cindy took her hand and told her how loved and precious she is to Him, Mia began to weep. The whole atmosphere in the room changed.

And then Ruth, who had come in needing help herself, turned to Mia, told her how much God loves her!"

Being an ear and listening to people's stories is a huge part of what Love INC does. It's an open door God has given us, and through it, in His love and mercy, He reveals Himself.

Our Essential Supply House needs YOU! 🙌

Sure, it's full of shampoo, toothpaste, and toilet paper, but it's also full of people who care. Every visit, our participants get prayed for, reminded they're loved, and sent home with the essentials they need. A little help goes a long way! 💛

We're running low and need your help restocking the shelves! Gather your small group, champion your church, or just grab a few extra items when you're at the store and bring them by the Connection Center! 🛒
