We invite you to our next chapter event, the Myrtle M. Jones Spring Tea in May of this year. We are choosing to honor a 50+ year member at each event and we want to honor our very own Sister Dorothy Jones-Garrett!

The event will be on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at Corinthian Baptist Church at 11 am. Tickets are $20.

Applications are now open for the Larry W. Carter Scholarship, administered by the Community Foundation, for the purpose of encouraging students of color to pursue higher education. Applications for the scholarship program are due May 1!

The Larry W. Carter Scholarship is available to Iowa residents enrolled in a full- or part-time college program, at either the undergraduate or graduate level.

We are sad to announce that the Easter Egg Hunt has been postponed to Sunday April 26th due to inclement weather and conditions of the park.

We hope to see you then and still give the kiddos a great time!
