🚨 URGENT ACTION NEEDED! 🚨

A new rule from CMS is threatening health coverage for people living with HIV.

Instead of protecting people with serious conditions as Congress intended, this rule requires invasive medical documentation and subjective assessments just to keep coverage. It's unworkable, it's harmful, and it breaks the promise made to our communities.

People living with HIV need continuous, uninterrupted care to stay healthy and thrive. This rule puts that at risk.

Don't let this stand. Call and email your Senators, Representative, and Governor at aidsunited.org/policy-action-center. Demand they fix this rule now!

Real inclusion isn’t about pulling up a chair after the fact—it’s about questioning the whole setup. Who designed this space? Whose needs were centered from the start? And who’s still waiting at the door? When we stop treating belonging as an invitation we extend and start treating it as a structure we redesign, that’s when classrooms (and systems) actually change. 💛

The world of Harm Reduction may see a major shift due to the two recently released letters from SAMHSA.

People who use drugs deserve more than survival conditioned on unstable political support. They deserve healthcare, housing, dignity, and evidence-based services without interruption. Every pause in care carries risk and every barrier added to treatment or harm reduction is a barrier that someone may not survive.

As we celebrate the resiliency, joy, and profoundness of our beloved LGBTQIA+ community this Pride Month, we're working against the violence that steals the lives of our loved ones, harmful rhetoric, and stripping away of LGBTQIA+ protections to health care rights.

Harm reduction, a movement started by and for LGBTQIA+ communities across the U.S. in response to the government's lack of care for people dying of AIDS, is anchored — and we refuse to move. Pride Month, just like LGBTQIA+ ancestors, elders, and younger folks, is eternal.
