​Our members are standing strong on the picket line for a fair contract! If you are looking to support our striking workers and their families, here is how you can help keep our picket line strong and supported:

​⏰ Picket Line & Union Hall Hours:
🗓️ Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

​🛒 Donations Needed:
We are currently accepting donations at the hall during operating hours. Essential items urgently needed include:

​🧼 Hygiene & Household: Laundry supplies, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, paper towels, and toilet paper
​👶 Baby Care: Baby formula, Pampers Swaddlers (Size 2), and infant diapers
​🥫 Food: Non-perishable food items

On Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, the UAW/Deere Bargaining Committee met at Local 838 in Waterloo, Iowa. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and prepare a response to Deere & Company’s June 10, 2026, contract extension proposal. The UAW Bargaining Committee conferred and returned a proposal to Deere. The details of our counteroffer are as follows. It is imperative our members understand they will have the final vote before any contractual modifications are implemented. Please note, the Company response will be shared, and all questions
should be referred to your Local leadership.
