And Texas Tech Softball and Alabama Softball weren't done — the game two nightcap delivered just as much heat 🔥. NiJaree Canady threw one heck of a game to send Tech and the Big 12 back to the finals.

🚨Need Financial Assistance to Play? The Fall 2026 Every Kid Sports Pass will open on June 23rd!🚨

Although 🥎 is our thing, every kid that wants to play a sport should have an opportunity. At Every Kid Sports, they believe that every kid deserves the chance to play sports, regardless of their financial situation. Unfortunately, many kids miss out on the physical, social, and developmental benefits sports provide due to financial barriers.

Their financial grant program, the Every Kid Sports Pass, provides qualifying families financial support to pay their child’s youth sports registration fees, up to three seasons, per year. And, it’s the kid’s choice––every sport is ‘in play.’

If qualifications are met, don't wait to apply and apply daily, as early in the day as possible‼️ 💵 Funds run out fast!

✅ The sport is recreational — not elite or travel Community leagues, parks and rec, school teams all qualify. Select/elite travel teams do not.

🚨 Another Central Iowan is heading to the national stage! UCLA Softball has made it to 10 of the last 11 Women's College World Series — and we have a feeling we'll be watching incoming UCLA freshman Kiya James on ESPN come 2027.

What she shares in this reel speaks directly to what DEITY Fastpitch is all about. Hmm... she'd make a phenomenal volunteer/mentor at one of our clinics. 🤔😂

At DEITY Fastpitch, we firmly believe that SOFTBALL IS FOR EVERYONE. 🥎✨ As AANHPI Heritage Month comes to a close, we are incredibly proud to stand with Athletes Unlimited in celebrating and honoring the rich diversity that makes our sport so beautiful.

We also want to give a massive shoutout to our local friends for everything they do to support, empower, and uplift our community here in Iowa!

🥎DMACC Softball finished 2nd in the nation‼️ (Congrats!🥈)
🥎Simpson College Softball starts their quest for a national title today!
🥎Central Iowa's Teagan Kavan will be in the circle for Texas Softball's WCWS title defense.

Exciting times locally and nationally for a great sport‼️ (and why DEITY Fastpitch mission is to introduce and bring more players into this wonderful game)

For the first time since the 1999 National Championship, Simpson Softball is returning to the biggest stage in college softball, reaching the Women’s College World Series after knocking off Saint Mary’s in the Super Regionals.
