Pound 122 Growl today. Officer elections were had. Awards were presented.
New officers:
PDD Jeff Strause - Pound Keeper, PDD Ryan Lincoln - Dog Robber, DD Jack Studebaker - Junior Vice, DD Bruce Charlet - Senior Vice, DD Carl Wong - Police Dog.
PDD PJ Pins did the honors of swearing in the new recruits.
PDD Daughenbaugh took photos, apologies for the amount.
A good time was had by all.

Our next growl will be March 15th at Amvets. Put it on your calendars. A reminder will be sent as we get closer.

Amvets #2, 2818 5th Ave, Des Moines. Chow at noon, growl at 1300.

At this point we should be drooling about nominations for Pound Dog of the Year and Pack Dog of the Year. Surely we have dogs that are worthy.

Operation Chowhound - If you are able, please bring something for donation to our selected group Rescue Rehab Rehome. They need puppy/kitten food, treats/biscuits/chew sticks/chew toys.

Great pound growl in Marshalltown, IA. We celebrated the 249th Birthday of our beloved United States Marine Corps with some of the residents. We also had elections & appointment of the officers and service awards.
