As you may be aware of the Ebola strain in West Africa, Africa Relief in Action, a nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas has created an Ebola Response Campaign to engage individuals and organizations in America to learn about the pandemic and further seek support in the fight against the deadly virus. We will liaise with our missions in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea to obtain situation reports and statistical data about the state of the disease.

The leaders of Sierra Leone and Liberia have declared state of emergency in their respective countries. The situation is very grave and urgent.

Since the disease was first detected in the Southeastern part of Guinea some six months ago nearly 700 people have so far died of the Ebola virus. Hundreds more are receiving treatment at various centers while the pandemic continues to ravage the sub-region. New cases are reported everyday and there is no signs that the contagion is diminishing.

At the moment, there is shortage of non pharmaceutical materials like gloves and protective gears, hard plastic containers to hold anti bacterial liquid, rain boots and any items that are useful in the outreach effort.

OFFICE FURNITURES DONATED

On Friday September 27, 2013 the chief engineers of TPMC Realty Corporation in Houston Texas, MARK LOOK and PAUL STRENGHT, donated office furniture worth over $2000 to ARIA International. These include 28 leader chairs and 6 cabins. Receiving the donation on behalf of the organization, the President/CEO MR. JOSEPH F. SANKOH, thank the engineers for the gesture and promised them that they will be used towards the effective functioning and furtherance of the development and work of the organization. We therefore want other groups and well-meaning persons to imitate the good will of those engineers as we welcome you all on board to the band wagon of humanitarian work. CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF ARIA-INTERNATIONAL

Christmas is a time of wonder and joy, of generosity and peace that brings family and friends together in celebration and song. We show love for others in the giving of gifts, and we observe the birth of our Lord Jesus that make the season special.
This year in the midst of extraordinary times, Aria – International has shown that though there is great evil, there is a greater good. The men and women of this organization have given of themselves, sacrificing to help others and showing the spirit of love and sharing that is so much a part of the Christmas season.
As dynamic and true friends of Aria-International, you can feel even better this season knowing that you are helping to minimize the suffering people in Africa and all over the world. This should be a challenge and a goal for your achievement, but which is only when you truly give your time, your efforts and dedicate your emotions towards what you have set aside as a challenge and focus on your goal.

I want you to therefore put on more of the humanitarian shoes and lets face the challenges ahead, we can do it as I have done it before. It takes two to Tangle, so therefore my beloved friends of humanity, one man cannot do what is meant for two. Without you and your efforts, nothing good will be done for our unfortunate children in Africa in particular and the world in general.

I have no doubt for your love and concern for human dignity, I pray as we celebrate these holidays, don't forget that someone is dying at this very moment I am writing you this message for your total support and love.
This Christmas we remember those who are without their loved ones. They continue to be in our hearts and prayers. May they experience peace, and may they find hope. And as we again celebrate Christ's birth, may the glorious light of God's goodness and love shine forth and bless all those who in deserve ways wants to help, the less privilege in Africa in particular and in the world at large.
As Founder and President of Aria-International, I will always go extra miles to make sure our aims and objectives are accomplished. But as I do my part, I want you to do your utmost best as required of you, and then we shall all together reach our GOAL.
