SNAFU Rescue is a 501(c)3 charity SNAFU Rescue (Short Noses And Friends United Rescue) is dedicated to raising money to take in dogs from the commercial breeding system (and commercial breeder dog auctions) and raising money for their vet bills.

After obtaining the dogs, we network with other rescues to possibly take those dogs in. We also do some fostering, rehabilitation and adoptions from time to time as well! Please like our page! We are based mainly out of the Midwest and have foster homes in many states within the Midwest (IA, NE, MO, KS, SD, MN & IL). All of our foster dog's locations are on our website. We do adopt nationwide (and to Canada) as long as adopters are willing to come and pick up their adopted dogs in person (we do not ship any of our dogs) and if, for any reason, they can not keep one of our grads, for any reason at all, they must be willing and able to return their adopted dog to his/her original foster home.

This little guy is a full-blown Frenchie tornado — active, curious, playful, mischievous, sweet, and always ready for his next adventure. 🎾💨

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today we celebrate the dogs who make life infinitely better... and significantly more fun.

The ones who snore through dinner.

The ones who think 55 pounds is a perfectly reasonable lap-dog weight.

The ones who throw you a full welcome-home parade after you’ve been gone for six minutes.

The ones who steal your spot on the couch, your side of the bed, and approximately 97% of your camera roll.

At the SNAFU Rescue, we get to see just how incredible dogs are every single day. Dogs who come to us needing a little help, a little patience, or simply someone willing to give them a chance.

And somehow, through it all, they still show up ready to love. Ready to trust. Ready to make themselves completely at home on your favorite pillow.

🐾💜 Welcome Bella to SNAFU Rescue! 💜🐾

Everyone give a warm welcome to Bella, a beautiful 4-year-old blue brindle pied French Bulldog being fostered in Phoenix, AZ! 🐾💙

Bella may have only been with her foster family for about a week, so we’re still getting to know her and watching her sweet personality unfold. But even in this short time, one thing is very clear—this girl is an absolute sweetheart. 🥹❤️

She’s affectionate, playful, a little shy as she settles in, and wonderfully submissive. She loves couch cuddles, car rides, and playing fetch with a ball all by herself until she’s completely worn out! 😂🎾 And apparently, Bella has a soft spot for the men. 😉❤️

She’s also doing beautifully with the resident dogs and cats, especially those who are calm and docile. She’s housebroken and currently uses a doggy door like a pro! 🏡🐶🐱
