This is an actual picture of children at a home on Grand Ave in Des Moines in 1937. The last Trick or Treat night actually held on Halloween day, its rightful day in Des Moines history.
It’s time to move Trick-or-Treating back to October 31 in Des Moines. There is nothing special about October 30 and the rest of America is laughing at us. Someone decided to run a smear campaign on my beloved Halloween night in the 1940’s, and the sheeple of Des Moines decided to move to “Beggars Night”. It’s time to make Halloween great again and move it back to the 31st.
