Happy Birthday Olympic Kennel Club 1944 to 2024 and still going strong. We are once again getting ready for our August shows. I am getting many questions about RV reservations and want all to know that the link on the web it will go live when the Premium List comes out for the OKC shows. We expect it to be out any day now. We apologize for the delay but have been working hard with BaRay to get it issued. The schedule for this years shows is:
August 10, 11 and 12, 2024–Sammamish Kennel Club All Breed
shows
August 13, 2024–Per AKC rules this is a down day for shows but we are working on some fun events for those in attendance
August 14 and 15, 2024–Breed Specialty Shows
August 16, 17 and 18, 2024–Olympic Kennel Club All Breed Shows including FSS shows, NOHS, and on Sunday, don’t miss the Best of the Best Junior Showmanship Competition.
All shows and event are open to the public and spectators are welcome to come, watch and learn about dog shows. Dock Diving will be running all week with the exception of the down day on Tuesday, August 13th. The vendors will be open every day for your shopping needs and pleasure.

It’s that time of year and Olympic Kennel Club members are working hard on getting ready for the August shows. This year the all-breed shows will be held on Friday, August 18, Saturday, August 19, and Sunday, August 20.

These three all breed shows will again be preceded by Specialty shows on Wednesday and Thursday put on by individual breed clubs and the Mt. Rainier Working Dog Club, and Rainier Sporting Dog Association.

OKC Agility will be held the weekend before our all breed shows which is the weekend of the Sammamish Kennel Club shows.

Dock Diving will run the entire week, starting on Saturday, August 12th and
running until August 20th. Dock Diving does take one day off (Tuesday, August 15th, in order to clean and refill their diving tanks.

It's Back: Dock Diving is returning to the OKC shows in 2022. Splashes will be available August 13, 2022 - August 15, 2022 and August 17, 2022 - August 21, 2022. The 17th through the 21st will be a qualifier for the NADD/AKC Regionals. Entries open June 1, 2022.

DOCK DIVING IS BACK IN 2022!!!!!!
Dock Diving will be with OKC during both the Sammamish Kennel Club Show weekend and the OKC show. There will be a break between the two shows for them to refresh their tanks but keep an out out for information on this event.

Make sure you check out our Judges Education Breed Seminars. We have a full day of breed seminars offered on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, with a couple carrying over to Wednesday Morning. Tuesday's seminars are: English Setters; Bullmastiffs; Golden Retrievers; Siberian Huskies; Irish Setters, Doberman Pinschers; Gordon Setters; Bernese Mountain Dogs; Irish Red & White Setters; and Great Pyrenees. Wednesday seminars: Lagotto Romagnolos; Papillons; and Mastiffs. There is also a Ring Steward seminar offered on Wednesday evening. To register go to the OKC Website:

Effective June 30th 2021, the Governor issued new guidelines for full reopening including removal distancing requirements and all capacity restrictions except indoor events over 10,000 attendees. Our shows at the Enumclaw Expo Center are now open to the public.

It has come to our attention that a rumor has spread of Elaine Young's passing. Although, I am sure she would still like to hear are the wonderful things being said about her, this is a false rumor and we are happy to say she is well and doing just fine.
