The American Pharmacists Association, Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is the premiere organization for student pharmacists. The Drake University chapter is proud to be a part of this pioneering organization! Here are some ways to get involved in APhA-ASP:

+Attend General Meetings, usually the first Thursday of each month from 11:30 AM-12:30PM.
+Keep up to date with the Weekly Dose e-new

sletter and follow us on Instagram .

+Attend any of our patient care project events! These include Operation Heart, Operation Immunization, Operation Diabetes, the Heartburn Awareness Challenge, and Generation Rx. There's always something to do, no matter your year in the program!

+Participate in our advocacy events and help our legislators learn what student pharmacists can do for the community.

+Come to speakers and other fun events hosted by the Pre-Pharmacy Committee.

+Use your creativity to help the chapter create its PharmFlix Video Contest submission.

+Serve on any one of our exciting committees, including the patient care projects (see above), the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation (IPSF), Pharmacy Recovery Network (PRN), Pre-Pharmacy, and Fundraising.

+Attend regional and national meetings, including the Midyear Regional Meeting and the APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition, to learn what other student pharmacists are doing at their chapters and gain invaluable experiences.

+Run for a position on our Executive Council at elections in the spring semester.
