This afternoon, a group of ladies gathered at Alma's house to create Parols, iconic Christmas star lanterns that symbolize the guiding light of the star of Bethlehem. Their enthusiasm was palpable as they crafted these vibrant lanterns with LED lights in various colors.

This fundraising effort will support their dance costumes for upcoming FAAI events, including the Valentine's party on February 14, 2026, and the CelebrAsian Festival in May 2026. The Parols are now available for purchase, with three already sold. You can display them proudly on your front porch, in your office, or living room, or gift them to someone special.

October 3, 2025, marks a milestone as we celebrate our inaugural FAAI Day, proudly proclaimed by Governor Kim Reynolds, and commemorate Philippine American History Month.

Good afternoon, and welcome to this momentous occasion. Today, we honor our dedicated volunteers, including Clarissa, Luisa, Cherry, AnnaLyn of Cedar Rapids, Lyrio, Erma, Aireen, Chy, and Linda, who selflessly contributed their time, resources, and efforts to make our Consular outreach a resounding success. Theresa, Elenita, Aireen, Mel, Luisa, and Linda, your generosity and kindness have not gone unnoticed. Let us extend our heartfelt gratitude to these exceptional individuals.

We also acknowledge the creative efforts of our party decorators, including Aida, Erlinda, JB, and Dory.
