3rd day of the 2026 IIMF HBCU Tour started with tours of Albany State University and Fort Valley State University. We enjoyed a night of bowling, laser tag, and games at Main Event.

2nd day of 2026 IIMF HBCU Tour started with tours of Morehouse College, Spelman College, Atlanta University Center Robert W Woodruff Library and Mimi's Pantry at the Lowery Institute. We also toured High Hog Farm where a fellow IIMF Alum, Avery Jackson, assisted with the tour.

The 2026 IIMF HBCU Tour is underway way. We landed m ded in the ATL yesterday and visited/toured the MLK Center and completed a scavenger hunt. Team Simone Freeman won the scavenger hunt. We had two guest speakers LaNicia Hart (Entrepreneur and PhD in Globa Health, Candidate) and Joshua Byrd (Marine, Attorney, Professor, and PhD in Cyber Security, Candidate) that presented on their respective fields. We visited the Perimeter Mall and ended the day with a rousing game night where some of us learned new games. Syeta N. Glanton

🎨⚡📊 S.T.E.A.M. Day Highlights!

Our students had an amazing time at Investing In My Future’s S.T.E.A.M. Day, diving into Arts and Math through hands‑on learning. They explored their creativity in a Painting Your Inner Power workshop, built real circuits with NSBE Jr., and strengthened their money skills with a fun financial literacy activity.

Seeing our elementary, middle, and high school students learn, create, and discover their strengths was truly inspiring. Here’s to empowering the next generation of leaders! 🌟

Thank you to Grand View University and Alex Piedras for hosting us. Students explored exciting workshops: building catapults with NSBE Jr., learning orthopedics and making casts with DMU, and diving into circuits with NSBE Jr.’s interactive boards.
