It was great to see everybody at the Grand Lodge of Iowa, A.F. & A.M. annual communication. We wish Most Worshipful Wade Sheeler some much-deserved rest and congratulate him and his Grand Family on an amazing year. We look forward to the coming year under Grand Master Kimberly Jones and Capital Lodge 110 supports you fully!
ON THAT NOTE… Masonic Lodges of Iowa, our Grand Lodge is in a budgetary shortfall and needs our help. In our opinion the Grand Lodge represents a distressed Master Mason in a condition we were once ALL in…remember? We thought you might. It is then our obligation to contribute to them as we can without harming ourselves. We realize many lodges are struggling right now, this is not a call to you. This is a call to those financially stable and comfortable lodges.
So, as we stated at the Annual Communication, Capital Lodge is donating $10,000 to the Grand Lodge of Iowa and we challenge those lodges that are also financially comfortable to match or beat our contribution. WE CHALLENGE YOU!
The Grand Lodge is essential to maintaining Iowa Masonry as we know it and to furthering our goal of making better men which we so sorely need in this world today. So, who is with us? Who will stand to support our brethren?
WE CHALLENGE YOU!
