The cost is 20.00 per shirt. The driver will receive one at no charge on race day. As far as what they look like? Awesome of course. So awesome and comfortable that we don't dare share the shirt until race day.

Last call to join Soap Box Derby this summer!
Have you been wanting to find a sport that gives you and your children time together! Soap Box Derby is that opportunity!
We have openings for children ages 7-20, usage of a car is included!
On June 13th we will be holding an Introductory session at the track in Ewing Park, Des Moines Iowa at 12:00 PM. During this session your child will get to learn the basics of a Soap Box Derby car, get to use a car to practice going down the hill and prepare to race on June 20th!

Child must be accompanied by an adult. All of the practice, use of the car and race is included in the $60.00 introductory package.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, stepmoms, grandmas, mothers-in-law, and those who love and support like a mom. Your encouragement, patience, and dedication do not go unnoticed, especially on race days. Thank you for all the early mornings, cheering from the sidelines, helping hands, and unwavering support you give to our racers and our community. We appreciate you today and every day.
