Des Moines Outreach Lions shot a 68 to win this year’s scramble portion of the Hickory Golf Association tourney at Hyperion Field Club.

Today our club treated the 27 students and their hosts/chaperones from the Iowa Lions Youth Exchange to lunch at Bonanza before their afternoon at Adventureland!

Great to see such positive energy and connections between young people from 13 countries including Denmark, Finland, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, France, Mongolia, China, Brazil, Mexico and more!

Can’t win them all! This one was a great game, nonetheless.

‪A very entertaining game 3 in the books from last night. Waukee-Clive Veterinary Clinic defeats Des Moines Outreach Lions Club 124-109. There were a ton of highlight plays in this one and we enjoyed every bit of it. Tre Jackson and George Conditt played very well tonight. Not to mention N’faly Dante had a strong game too.‬ This game was a fun battle to see from start to finish!

Unselfish basketball by a team sponsored by a service organization! Gotta love it!

Game 2 done! Des Moines Outreach Lions Club take the win over Walnut Creek YMCA 133-116. N’Faly Dante lead his team with 31 points. The Lions are now 2-0 and had 7 scorers in double figures and 27 assists!

‪National Top 10 2020 high school recruit N'Faly Dante is in Des Moines for the summer and landed on our Des Moines Outreach Lions Club’s team in the YMCA Capital City Men's Basketball League. He stands 6'11" and helped our team (12/8/1 blk) open the summer season with a dominant victory!‬
