Twenty-five years later, the pain of September 11, 2001, still echoes in the hearts of so many.
We remember the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends, and innocent lives taken far too soon. We remember the families who said goodbye that morning without knowing it would be forever.
We remember the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and ordinary people who ran toward danger while others were running away. Many never came home. Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness will never be forgotten.
And we remember a nation that, for a moment, stood together — strangers comforting strangers, neighbors helping neighbors, and countless people reminding one another that we were not alone.
Some wounds never completely heal. Some names should never fade. Some memories must never be forgotten.
Today, we pause to honor every life lost, every family changed, and every hero who gave everything.
