Kent Thiesse has spent decades working alongside agriculture, bringing experience from both farm management and community banking.

At the Virtual Ag Conference, he’ll bring that perspective to the conversation.

Kent currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Ag Loan Officer for MinnStar Bank. Before that, he spent 28 years as an Extension Educator in Agriculture with the University of Minnesota Extension Service. He also writes the weekly “FOCUS ON AG” column and regularly speaks on farm management and agricultural issues.

Kent will kick off the conference with a look at what’s happening at the farm level, then return later in the morning to moderate our expert roundtable.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Executive Management Conference and Young Bankers of Iowa Innovation Conference. Bringing these two conferences together gave us the opportunity to connect with bankers from across the state, hear from an outstanding lineup of speakers, and share ideas that will help strengthen Iowa’s community banking industry.
