On August 10th, 2020 a strong Derecho ripped a path across Iowa. This storm was equivalent to a category 2 hurricane, which leveled homes, businesses and left hundreds of thousands without access to food, power or the internet.

At its peak 550,000 Iowans were without power leaving their perishable foods to the mercy of the sweltering Iowa heat. Tens of thousands of families were forced to throw away refrigerators and freezers full of food.

Please donate to Pick Me Up Foundation and help to resupply the refrigerators of those who have been effected the most.
