🌧️ Rain Check… Literally 🌧️
You know it’s peak trail season when your weekly schedule depends less on your calendar and more on whatever the clouds are feeling that day.
🚴♂️ Group ride? Cancelled. Trails are soup.
🛠️ Volunteer trail day? Also cancelled. Turns out shovels and mud wrestling aren’t the same thing.
🧠 Motivation? “Let’s revisit this when we’re not 80% puddle.”
And yet… somehow…
🌿 The trails are out there getting stronger without us.
🌱 Plants are thriving. Roots are thriving. Moss is thriving.
👀 That one overgrown section you finally cleared last month? Thriving the MOST.
So while we’re inside watching radar apps like it’s a competitive sport, Mother Nature is basically like:
“Don’t worry, I’ve got the trail work covered… but I will be making it 10x harder for you later.”
In conclusion:
Rain cancels rides.
Rain cancels trail work.
Rain schedules future trail work… aggressively. 😄
