School of Mary - Montessori

School of Mary - Montessori A Catholic Montessori program for children ages 3-12.

After ten years of experiencing the joys of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (a Montessori approach to the religious formation of children), School of Mary was formed to offer families the total Montessori vision of spiritual and academic development for the child. School of Mary - Montessori serves children 3-9 years of age with Primary/Early Childhood and Lower Elementary Catholic Montessori

Academic Programs in addition to the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atrium experience. The extended-day design will allow for the uninterrupted work time that is so essential to outcomes that parents desire from a Montessori prepared environment in a beautiful Catholic setting. It is with great joy that we welcome families and children to School of Mary where the Montessori philosophy of “following the child” will provide a catalyst for expanded learning specifically fitted to the particular needs of each child.

We are so proud of one of our School of Mary children who is boldly sharing her faith in her parish and community!

What a beautiful example of a young person listening to the Holy Spirit and saying “yes.” Thank you for being a light and inspiring others through your gifts.

This young lady- a cantor at her parish-found out about our “Comfort and Joy” tour, made a proposal asking to bring the tour to her church… and they said YES! Truly speaks to the pastor, music director, and other parish leaders as well. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen a young person evangelize their community, but it never ceases to amaze me how the Holy Spirit works! We loved being a part of her dream, singing WITH her, and of course praying and singing with the amazing community at St, Luke’s in Ankeny IA. A perfect ending to Comfort and Joy 2025.

This past weekend our staff member Clare married her best friend, Austin. It was a beautiful day filled with faith, joy, and love!

We are so grateful for Clare's gentle spirit, dedication, and care she brings to our youngest learners, and we're thrilled to share in this special moment of her life.

Bidding goes live Friday, February 7th at noon and closes at 8:15pm on Saturday, February 8th during our School of Mary Trivia Night.
