Kids will be back in school soon! Today is the last day for free summer meals at 3 of our sites:
Redondo (lunch 12:30-1:30, snack 2:30-3:30),
Des Moines Beach Park (lunch 12:00-12:30, snack 2:45-3:00) and
Des Moines Field House Park (lunch 11:30-12:00, snack 3:15-3:30.)

It’s the 3rd Tuesday of the month and the food bank is open tonight from 6-8:00 pm. There is also a community dinner from 5:30-6:30 tonight, featuring barbecued hot dogs and hamburgers. All are welcome to come to the dinner.

We are at the Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market today with Free Lunches for Kids & Teens from 10:30-1:30. The market is located in the north parking lot of the marina. We will be here every Saturday until school starts!

Lots of great fruits and vegetable this week, including canteloupe, cucumbers, strawberries, grapes, apples, carrots, cauliflower, lettuce, cabbage, etc..
