All About the Kids Iowa Des Moines, Iowa based 501c3 non-profit organization All About the Kids was founded in 2010 by Founder & Executive Director, Lou Parks.

In 2021, All About the Kids obtained its formal 501c3 non-profit status that’s mission is to create diverse programs that empower high-risk youth by focusing on their strengths, skills and self-esteem and assisting them to becoming valued members of their communities. All About the Kids mission fuels the organization’s commitment to promoting a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all of m

embers. We work largely with populations at high risk for violence, incarceration, substance abuse, and poor academic performance. Programs are specifically tailored to meet the needs of these youth and young adults, connect with and support them and focus on their individual personal development through one-on-one mentoring and building relationships into the future. We believe the success of our youth requires strong, connected families and communities.
