As part of our campaign with Iowa State Cyclones Tyler Moore and Caleb Bacon this season, we donated $2,500 worth of pork to each player’s food pantry of choice. Caleb selected the Lake Mills Food Shelf in his hometown, and stopped by this morning to see the impact firsthand.

The gratitude, smiles, and community impact say it all. Thank you, Caleb, for giving back and helping make a difference.

Imagine our surprise when donations started rolling in from out of state! Last week, nearly 500 separate donors sent donations and messages from Penn State, apologizing for intercepting football coach Matt Campbell…

We saw this as an extraordinary act of kindness.

Iowa State Football and Athletics have always been very supportive both in donating to our programs, and in volunteering. We appreciate the graciousness of Penn State fans deciding to send donations when they saw the support ISU provides to local food banks.

We are asking ISU football fans to rally and pay it forward with donations to food pantries in Pullman, Washington to support their community with the transition of coach Jimmy Rogers from their team to ours!
