All cleaned up and weeded, shrubs trimmed, and fresh bark mulch! Thank you, Groundhog Landscaping for the contribution/work in making the pocket park(garden) looking great for the year.

This wonderful group does so much work to keep Derry Gardens around town vibrate. Especially the pocket park garden by the kiosk behind Sabatinos. This group does so much!!

Please support there upcoming plant sale so they can keep Derry gardens flourishing .

This is why we have a sign at the kiosk and over at Hood Park and soon to be at the beginning of the trail at Windham line that talks about rail trail etiquette. Please people be cautious of your surroundings of families, walking their children, elderly walking, people riding bike, safe Always say as you approaching someone “on your left.”Go buy them slower than normal and then go back to your normal speed You were going. A reminder the max speed on the rail trail is 25 miles an hour that goes for E bikes too. At crossovers, please use the safety beacons. You are required by law to stop at the intersection. Wait for cars to stop and walk your bike across or walk across the crosswalk safety Beacons were put there for safety. Again, I cannot iterate, you need to be more careful on the trail. This should have never happened. My heart goes out to that family, and especially that little girl who didn’t deserve to get hurt that way, and to the coward who hit her and wouldn’t stay there to make sure everything was Ok! Shame on you…:
