We appreciate the Derry Garden Club members and Board members of the Derry Rail Trail Alliance for coming out today. Weeding out the garden behind the kiosk and doing some cleanup on the trail. Will be doing more of these throughout the summer!! . Good news is that you, the people who use the trail must be walking and picking up garbage because there was not much to pick up so thank you for that.

Just a reminder this Saturday we need your help looking for volunteers to come and clean up the trail. Do some weeding in the garden area by the pocket park. We need Weedwhacker’s leaf blowers garden tools, and yourselves. Hope to see you all there to clean up the town trail.

Join your local officers for a family fun community event! Bubbles, K9 demonstrations, drone demonstrations, try on some SWAT gear, choose which Derry Fire Battalion makes the best sandwich, and so much more!!

Due to the inclement weather coming Wednesday we’re moving the cleanup day and waiting to Saturday, August 8 at 9 AM. Please bring along any garden tools you have Weedwhacker leaf blowers other garden tools would be muchly appreciated. We hope to see a good crowd there on Saturday.

Due to the impending weather tomorrow, we will postpone the weeding and cleanup of the Derry rail trail till next Wednesday, July 28 starting at the same time 9 AM. Hope to see you all there.
