We have a lot of pictures of happy Saints in action that we could be posting right now.

But at this time, let's build a wall together of our Saints using your own favorite picture(s) - past, present and way back.

If you would like to share your favorite picture(s), please comment and post a picture(s) of your favorite Saint.

One rule please: please, no words please...just pictures.

With a grateful heart,
Thank you.

Mrs. Gagliardi and her 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade Social Studies classes dedicate many class hours studying the Civil War and Reconstruction.

Today is Juneteenth, the day the last enslaved people in the Confederate South received word from the US Army of their freedom granted under the Emancipation Proclamation.

This is our part of our shared history, and a good day to remember our shared ideal of Liberty and Justice for all.

Happy 1st day of summer vacation!

You probably have a whole set of colored pencils or crayons in your reach - here's a 12 minute video that walks through the steps to draw a great summer-scape of flowers!

Art projects like this are educational in many ways. The artist needs perseverance and patience to get their picture from the beginning to the middle to the end result. They will be using fine motor skills as they hold their pencils and color within the lines. They will be practicing their listening skills and following directions. They will be following an online lesson (important these days!). And they will see how color and shading can transform their work into actual art work. And in the end, they will have a sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with a job well done!

We hope you enjoy this beautiful day, and we hope your Saint enjoys making this project!

This is a video art tutorial for kids, age 5+, HOW TO DRAW A FROG, step by step with colored pencils. Art lessons with an artist and art educator Natalka Bar...

Amidst the hub bub of Pick up/Drop off time,
the Student Council managed to fit in one last act of service

Thanks to 8th grader Finn DeBeckers, his family, the Student Council’s virtual enthusiasm, and the generous support of STA families, the Pet Food Drive is a hit!

The Salem Animal Rescue League will receive a great assortment of food that’s definitely needed at this challenging time.

Thank you all for your warm hearted donations!

We're still smiling from today's Kindergarten graduation.

Mrs. McCue and her Saints put together songs and pictures to make this a true celebration of all they did together - always with smiles.

Here are a few of the smiles we saw today...

Our Kindergartners graduate today!

Last week, we graduated our 8th graders - some of whom were together all their school years since Kindergartners and are now lifelong friends.

This class was such a special one -which you will see as they lead us in a prayer.

God bless our Kindergartners and all of their families!

We're about to start the last week of school....without our 8th graders.

We miss our Class of 2020 already, but know they are well prepared for success in high school and beyond.

Usually, we all get to say our last good-byes and well wishes in person at the 8th grade graduation. But this year was, of course, not usual.

So after an online graduation, we had a social-distance parade - including decorated cars and lots of tears, smiles and heart felt best wishes!

God bless our 8th graders.
