Good Morning Livestock Community,

5 days until the deadline to order DNA Kits online for the Market Steers, if haven't order yet.

14 days until the Possession Deadline for Market Steers, turn into the State Fair of Louisiana Livestock office.

Please use Priority mail in case it gets lost when sending it in.

Please do not wait until the last minute to order the DNA kits. These days we have snail mail, we don't have Paul Revere delivering anymore.

The DNA Validation kits are available to purchase on the State Fair of Louisiana website. The website link below will direct you to the Livestock Department Page where the 2026 State Fair of Louisiana Livestock Schedule and the 2026 Livestock Premium book and other Livestock information will be located.
